Voici un Message trés important.......
This past Monday a local queer/trans girl was physically assaulted in
broad daylight at the corner of Duluth & St. Laurent. She was
blind-sided by a punch in the nose that was hard enough to knock her
off her feet and draw blood. The only assumed reason is her
gender-variance/perceived queerness! In an effort to make herself, and
all other queer/trans folk in this city feel safe in the streets again
she is calling for a kiss-in to happen at that exact corner at that
exact time (3:00pm) on Monday, July 2nd, 2007. Queer & Queer-Positive
folks are being asked to show up with a partner (or two or three) in
tow to kiss when the clock strikes 3:15. Your support is appreciated
